Membership Levels & Member Bonus Program
IndiaStudyChannel.com was started in April 2007, by a small group of Indian students as part of their academic project. Now, more than 10
students have joined our core group and we are still growing. We divide our revenue between all
students and graduates who contribute to this site, including our founders and new members.
Membership levels are calculated based on the total points each member earns by posting
resources
and various other content in this site.
Bronze: upto 50 Points
Silver: 50 to 250 Points - Eligible for AdSense revenue sharing program
Gold: 251 to 2500 Points - Eligible for AdSense revenue sharing program
Diamond: 2501 to 25000 Points - Eligible for annual bonus from IndiaStudyChannel.com
Platinum: Above 25000 Points - Eligible for annual bonus, profit share and partnership in IndiaStudyChannel.com
Diamond and Platinum level members will receive additional benefits inlcuding bonus and profit share from IndiaStudyChannel.com, in addition
to the regular
Google AdSense revenue share. The profit share
will be determined on a case to case basis, under the full descretion of the management. Annual Bonus will be
determined based on the following formula:
How is the Bonus calculated ?
We use the following algorithm to calculate the bonus payment to Diamond and Platinum members.
Bonus = (Total Annual Profit / Total Points By All Membes) x Points Earned By Member.
For example, consider this scenario:
- IndiaStudyChannel.com makes a profit of Rs 20 Lakhs this year.
- The total points earned by all members together are 500,000
- Total points earned by you is 5000
In this case, your bonus amount will be Rs. 20,000 ( calculated by
(20,00,000 / 500,000) * 5000 ).
Bonus will be paid during April every year, subject to approval from director board of IndiaStudyChannel.com
Eligibility for Annual Bonus
You must be Diamond/Platinum level members for atleast 1 year as of March 31.
Only your points in the current year wil be considered. Even if you are platinum member with the points you earned last year, but earned no points this year, you will not be eligible for bonus.
Your posts must have added value to ISC rather than copy pasting 100s posts from other sites.
