About Shree Guru Sudhindra College
Bhatkal Education Trust®, Bhatkal, one of the oldest and reputed Charitable Educational Institutions of this part of area, made a humble beginning with the holy and divine blessings from H.H. Shrimad Sudhindra Teertha Swamiji of Shree Samsthan Kashi Muth and also with the help of philanthropic support of innumerable donors, aimed at imparting Collegiate Education in Arts, Science and Commerce to local rural youth especially girl students under the name and style of Shree Guru Sudhindra Degree College, Bhatkal, affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad.
The Degree College is permanently an ”Un-Aided” one without any kind of financial assistance from the side of the Government. The College is being run and managed by a Bhatkal Education Trust ® consisting of Trustees representing noted dignitaries coming from various walks of public life. The College has been able to develop all out physical infrastructure like class room, play ground, modern equipment, full fledged Laboratory/Library and Computer Laboratory in a five acre prime plot situated within city limits, conforming to stipulated standards of high academic excellence.
