About Amrita Institute of Science and Technology College
Amrita School of Engineering was started in 2002 as "Amrita Institute of Technology & Science" with a vision to produce quality engineers with service attitude for the benefit of the society and nation. The school was conceived of as the grooming ground for future engineering professionals of India. Initially it had only three branches: Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Information Technology. It was then affiliated to the University of Kerala.
In 2004, Amrita Institute of Technology & Science came under the ambit of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Deemed University and now it is called as "Amrita School of Engineering". Curre
