About Shadan Degree College
|
One of the Top Institutions in the Jurisdiction of Osmania University with 22 Gold Medals & several Distinctions. The Shadan Degree College for Women was granted permission by the Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O Rc. No.1640 dated 17/11/1988 and the Osmania University in the year 1988 and vide its letter No.547/A/1251/88/Acad, dated 24/11/1988. It is a minority Institution with a minority status certificate No. 077/1721/M&R/A2/99(M) dated 23/7/99.
Dr. Mrs Fouzia Khan, who holds a Ph.D degree in Education and is highly experienced, heads the college. She has been honoured with the Shadan Educational Society Best Principal Award in 1992, a Gold set for her meritorious services in 1999. Vidya Jyothi Puraskar was awarded in 1999. The Best Citizen of India award was presented to her in 2002. Society for Friendship & International Unity presented her with a Gold Medal, the Rashtra Nirman Ratna Award 2004 in recognition of her outstanding work in the field of Education.
