About Army Institute of Nursing
The Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati was established in 2006 by the Army Welfare Education Society for the wards of serving and ex-servicemen of the Indian Army. It is affiliated to Gauhati University. From the academic year 2010 – 2011 the Institute is affiliated to Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences, Assam. The Institute is recognized and approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Assam Nurses' Midwives and Health Visitors Council.
Facilities: Classrooms, computer labs, library and Labs with advanced Nursing mannequins, CPR mannequins & Pediatric mannequins to help students develop skills in basic and advanced nursing procedures.
Hostel: The hostel of Army Institute of Nursing is located at Narangi Military Station.
