About Bishop Moore College
Bishop Moore College, a premier educational institution at Mavelikara in Alappuzha districtict of Kerala was started in 1964 as a junior college offering two years pre-degree course of the University of Kerala. The CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese got this golden opportunity to uphold the great tradition of the Church Missionary Society in the field of education when the Bishop Rt. Rev. M.M.John, took the historic decision, responding to an announcement of the Kerala Government to start junior colleges in the state. He named the college BISHOP MOORE COLLEGE.
