4. It has earned its rightful position in the first ten ranks of the anna university colleges in an astonishing tight period of 5yrs. Although it has its reputation at stake all because of its silly, outrageous and anti-human rules and regulations. Can you believe you aren't suppose to turn towards a girl by mistake otherwise you have those insane punishments like "Office-Duty" and "Gate Duty" and at extreme situations "fines". By the way its the most secure place for those girls whose parents truly concerned about the environment, yet these won't stop those guys and gals who like to be the cool, modern freebies coz we like breaking these rules using the loopholes...!!!!! Still management-student efforts are shooting the college's reputations to unpeccable heights.
5. Jeppiaar Engineering College is a Christian minority educational institution established in the year 2001 and is a unit of Jeppiaar Educational Trust.
Affiliated to the Anna University, the College runs undergraduate and postgraduate programs. All the courses run by the college are approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.
