About Guwahati College
Guwahati College is one of the premier colleges of higher learning of Guwahati University. Started in 1964, the college has a very humble beginning as a night college, catering mostly to the needs of office- goers and professionals. Guwahati College now stands as a full- fledged institution of higher learning equipped with the latest in educational technology. With financial assistance from the U.G.C. and the State Government, the College at present offers Higher Secondary and Degree Courses in both the Arts and Science streams.
