A candidate is eligible to take admission to this course after 10+2 Science and or JEE Exam. Some Institutes conduct their own entrance exams and admissions are given on merit of 10+2 Science and entrance exam.
Admission to this course is based on merit of 10+2 Science/ JEE/ Institute level Written test or through Institute level Management quota.
Instrumentation is blend of art and science of sensing, measurement and control of processes in a production, laboratory or manufacturing area. Once you complete this graduate course you are ready to take jobs in the Instrumentation domain.
The B.Tech. Instrumentation is a four year course covering basic and domain related subjects. The first year covers basic subjects while the core subjects of Instrumentation are covered in the second and the third year followed by current trends in the final year. Overall, the graduate course provides a perfect blend of basic concepts, hands on practice and a project, which prepares the student to face the real world.
B. Tech. Instrumentation graduates can opt for jobs in manufacturing, oil and gas production, food processing, chemical industries, in the government or the private sector.
Graduates can opt for ME or M Tech in Instrumentation Engineering or MBA .
