Product design assumes significance, when we start considering the ergonomic use of a product and its adaptability to a system. A product should be so designed that it is user friendly. Product design is an interesting field. It however calls for lot of creativity and imagination. Lot of factors are taken in account while designing a product. One has to consider human factors, ergonomics, materials, manufacturing processes, design management and even social factors. There’s no end to product design. Almost every product that we use in our daily life have been designed to certain extent. Eligibility and course duration
!0+2 in any discipline with at least 50% marks. The duration of the course is 4 years, with 1 year as foundation and 3 years advanced design programme.
