Candidates who have qualified the 10+2 Science Examination and or JEE Examination are eligible to this course. candidates who have completed Diploma in Civil engineering are eligible to apply directly to the second year of Degree.
A candidate can be admitted to this course on merit of 10+2 Science, JEE or Institute level Written test or through Institute level Management quota.

The Civil Engineering Bachelor’s course comprises of eight semesters with the first year focusing on basic subjects like applied physics, applied maths, applied chemistry, applied mechanics, engineering drawing etc. The second and the third year subjects include structural engineering, environmental, water resources, construction, transportation, geotechnical engineering, management, urban planning etc. Majority of the subjects are taught using a mix of theory, tutorial and practical. Students opt for elective/ specialization in the final year along with project. Some colleges offer internship in the final semester.
