Master of communication and journalism is an academically oriented course that not only prepares you for a career in the media industry but also gives you a solid footing for pursuing doctoral studies. Depending upon your area of interest you can select any of the field from communication, journalism to other media platforms. If not as a journalist, you can work in any of the other areas in communication and mass media. Some of the important topics in the course are introduction to journalism and mass communication, media management, news reporting, editing, advertising, photography, public relations, radio & TV production, print production and media ethics. Since this is a research oriented course the last semester is mainly devoted to research and based on which you need to submit a dissertation at the end of the course.
