PhD. is the abbreviated form of 'Doctor of Philosophy'. It is a research based degree where enrolled candidates first study about the topic in detail through available resources and literature and then conduct their own research with the help of their supervisor.

For admission in PhD, candidates can have many options like-
  • Through national level entrance tests- In this case, they will get stipend for at least 5 years.

  • Through institute level entrance test- There are some reputed government affiliated institutes conduct their own entrance examinations for PhD.

  • Direct admission- Here candidates approach the supervisor and if supervisor likes their SOP, he may accept them for PhD.
