M.Tech (Master of Technology) is a post graduate course and the field of Engineering design is designed to teach about engineering products and their designing process. Candidates learns about all the steps an Engineer follows from identifying a problem till developing or creating a solution. It also teaches about protocols, physical configurations, formats, logical structures, controlling of configurations, processing of data, etc.
Candidates with keen interest in advances engineering technology are suitable for this course.
A graduate with B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) or B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree is eligible for this course. The minimum qualifying marks should be 60% and the course must be pursued from one of the recognized universities.
The renowned institutes and colleges for engineering are conducting their own entrance tests to short list the candidates depending upon their performance in the same. Many institutes consider the performance of candidates in national level entrance examinations like GATE.
