Course Description of M.Tech Nanomedical Sciences


The course is two year program which focuses on biomedical nanotechnologies with hands on experience in the field. The program is multidisciplinary, comprehensive and prepares students for working in nano-medical sciences. The students are equipped with skills in applied knowledge in nanotechnology. The program prepares the students to become competent professionals in nanotechnology and face challenges in the industry. Training provides students knowledge and practical aspects in preventive measures, diagnosing, treating diseases and injuries. Emphasis is laid on improving healthcare services using tools of molecular knowledge of the human body. The curriculum includes lectures, demonstrations, practical sessions, laboratory, seminars, field work assessments and examinations. They are exposed to areas of nano medicine to combat diseases and drug resistance with less side effects.
