B.Tech is a Graduation level course in Technical stream with full name as Bachelor of Technology. The specialization of Chemical Technology deals with combination of Chemistry and Technology. This course focuses on the various applications of Chemistry, physics, life science with economics and mathematics in converting raw material/ chemicals in its usable forms. It also targets the advancements in the field like nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, fuel cells, etc to have valuable out puts. The course involves designing, implementations, improvements, maintenance, etc of various transformations of chemicals during manufacturing processes.
Candidates having excellent technical skills, ability to learn faster and have problem solving skills are suitable for this course.
It is a graduation level or Bachelor level course hence required candidates who have completed their 12th standard examination successfully with at least 60% arks as aggregate are eligible for this course. Candidates from science stream who have studies Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics can only apply for this course.
