The four year degree course curriculum covers basic science subjects, core and advanced subjects pertaining to structural design, guidance, navigation and control, instrumentation and communication, and production methods, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, celestial mechanics, propulsion, acoustics, or guidance and control systems, computer-aided design (CAD) software, robotics etc. The curriculum may include specialization in a particular type of aerospace product, such as commercial aircraft, military fighter jets, helicopters, spacecraft, or missiles and rockets. The course is taught using theory, practical, tutorial and project and designed to provide the basic concepts, hands on practice and a project which prepares the student to face the real world.
Candidates completing this degree course have blooming career opportunities in both government and private sector aerospace product and parts industry. Graduates can give PSCs, SSC, UPSC, Defence Services exams conducted by the government and get employed by various government sector organizations like Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Airport Authority of India (AAI), etc
