M. Pharm course is offered by many colleges and Universities in India. The list is attached. It is a 2-year course. The admission is based on your B. Pharm performance and your rank in GATE. The seat will be given based on your GATE rank. The Pharmaceutical Analysis specialisation will be allotted based on the availability of seats. CSIR and UGC are offering fellowships for these students basing on their GATE Score. In the second year of the course, you have to take up a project work under the guidance of a teaching staff. You have to carry out work on the project work was taken up and the results are to be submitted to the department as a partial requirement of completing this course. Then there will be a seminar in which you have to give a presentation on your project work and then there will be an oral examination Students who are qualified in this will be declared pass if all other subject examinations are cleared.
The students who completed this course will have many opportunities to start their career. If the student is interested he can go for Doctorate degree under the guidance of a qualified director. The CSIR and UGC will give fellowship for the people who are qualified in the CET organised by CSIR and want to pursue their Doctorate course.The scholarship amount varies from time to time and will be sufficient for the student for his expenses. There will be some amount of contingency expenses also. The students who qualified for the CAT exam are eligible to go as lecturers in both government and private colleges. They will be offered UGC pay scales.

These Organisations will have many openings for these students. They will be employed as Scientists and Managers. They will be offered jobs in Production, supply chain management, quality control and quality assurance, testing, Research and Development departments of the Organisation.There is an Organisation of government known Food and Drug controlling authority. These officers have to give release certificate for the medicines to get released into the market.There are jobs in this establishment for these students. There are many CSIR laboratories working on drug development and new molecule design in which there are many posts for these students in those laboratories also.
