Eligibility Criteria

  1. The students who wish to study this course should pass a master's degree in either Economics or Sociology or a related field.
  2. The marks to be obtained in master's degree is minimum 55%.
  3. All those students who fulfill these initial criteria will be called for an entrance examination. If you clear this examination, then you will be called for the subsequent process. All those students who possess a UGC or CSIR NET score in Economics or any related subject will be exempted from the entrance examination. They and the other candidates who clear the test shall have to go through the subsequent interviews.
  4. Depending on the university regulations any university can conduct one or multiple rounds of interviews to finally select a candidate. Any student who wishes to study this PhD course on Trade and Environment should clear these interviews. They will also have to give a short presentation on what is their expectation of this course and how have they prepared themselves for this PhD course.
