This is a 30 session (half days) course comprising of theory, practical, market research, projects, seminars, exhibition and industry visits and guest lectures. The topics include basics of merchandizing, how to conceptualize jewellery designs, from concept to marketing of jewellery, understanding national and international trend forecasting process, planning and costing of new collection ranges, brand management, pricing, visual merchandizing, basics of ecommerce and digital marketing.
After completion of the course the candidate can join the industry as an assistant jewellery merchandiser, product development executive, assistant retail merchandiser, a merchandiser for ecommerce etc. The course will be useful to entrepreneurs who can kickstart a jewellery business or expanding their existing business.
