Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture is an engineering course which deals with design and construction of buildings. A would be architectural engineer gets to learn how to get involved in the planning and design stage and oversee the construction of the building or structure. Most architectural wonders, modern or historical, are a product of an amalgamation of various branches of engineering like electrical, mechanical and civil with the principles of design. As such an architectural engineer has to explore other disciplines like electrical, mechanical too. Because of the similarity of construction activity there’s a lot of things common between civil and architectural engineering. But the latter focuses mostly on buildings and structures, whereas civil engineering encompasses a wider field and focuses on most things related to infrastructure.

Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Math. A strong background in Math and Physics is essential. Admission is through entrance exams. Duration of course is 4 years.
