Telecommunication engineering primarily deals with designing, developing and installing of telecommunications equipment like switching systems, optical fibre cabling works, microwave transmissions and even providing telephone services. All this while, the research scholar has to start working on the dissertation or thesis and has to submit it at the end of the course. On clearing the final viva-voce, the PhD is delivered.
