Master of Engineering or M.E. in electronics and Digital Systems is a post-graduate level degree course in technical stream. It is the unique combined field of Digital systems and electronics which deals with designing of electronic equipment, control systems, global positioning systems, music players, etc. Candidates also learn about hardware languages and their applications in designing and implementations. The course also includes semiconductor devices and current flow,
Analogue circuits, electromagnetism, linear control theory, etc which make the candidates understand about the operations of simple electrical machines and various electronic communication systems.
The course requires candidates who have completed their graduation in technical line and holding Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of technology or any other equivalent degree from a recognized institute of India. The minimum qualifying marks and age criteria may vary from one institute to another and candidates should check the same before submitting their applications.
Admissions are mostly offered through screening on the basis of performance of candidates during entrance tests and interview sessions. These entrance tests can be national level, state level, and institute level and a single candidate can appear in any or all of them as per his/ her suitability and availability.
There is a requirement of application submission and candidates need to submit the applications separately for entrance tests and admissions in case of national and state level entrance tests.
The duration is 2 years or 4 semesters of this course. each semester is having 6 months duration.

After completion of this course, candidates become eligible to get a reputed job but if any of them still wants to continue the studies, Ph.D. is an excellent option. It is a research-based course and candidates can get entry into the scientific world of research by this course.
