As an industrial engineering professional you are responsible to integrate the concepts of people, money, time and resource management with the principles of engineering, ergonomics, design and safety. As such, in this course other than basics on engineering, one has to study concepts about management science, operations research, systems engineering and management engineering. They are also in demand in companies where there is a lot of automation, such as in assembly line production units, for their smooth functioning.
