Master in Marketing Management is also known as M.M.M., its abbreviated form. It is a post-graduate level degree course in the field of management. Marketing management deals with teaching about analysis, planning, implementation and control of various programs for creating and maintaining beneficial exchanges with buyers. Candidates learn about different domains of marketing management like industrial marketing, theoretical and practical approach to marketing research, consumer behavior, etc.

Candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognized institute and have obtained at least 50% marks as aggregate are eligible for this course. Admissions require submission of filled application forms enclosed with other required documents before the last date of submission. Many institutes offer direct admissions in this course, whereas some institutes create merit list on the basis of the scores obtained in graduation.

The duration of this course is 2 years. In some institutes, these 2 years are divided into 4 equal parts known as semesters. Each semester is having 6 months duration.
Further Study options
After completion of this course, candidates are eligible to get good jobs. But still, if they want to study further, the available options for them are Ph.D. in Marketing, Management or any other related subject.
Candidates can also pursue dual Master’s degree in M.Com in Sales and Marketing. Some short-term courses like Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Marketing Information system, Distribution, and Marketing, Advertising, Marketing and Sales Management, etc can also be pursued as per the job requirement.
The course teaches about principles of marketing, managerial economics, fundamentals of management accounting, etc during an initial phase of the course. After that, the candidates learn about research methodologies, consumer behavior, business communication, etc.
The course also includes topics like service marketing, basics of information technology, retail marketing, related laws, brand management, and strategic marketing.
These candidates can work as a business process analyst, demand supply advisor, zonal business manager, sales operations associate, etc very easily.
