Master of Technology is addressed as M.Tech most of the times. It is a Postgraduate level degree course in a technical field and is available in different subjects from different streams. After completion of this course, candidates can enroll in Ph.D. or Doctor of Philosophy in computer and communication. It is a research-based course through which candidates can design and even conduct their own experiments under the supervision of the guides.
the initial phase of the course teaches applied mathematics, system programming, modern digital communication techniques, operating systems, advanced microprocessors, and microcontrollers. Candidates also learn about advanced digital signal processing, optical fiber communication, internet concepts, computer architecture and parallel processing through this course.
Some elective subjects are also included in the course like microwave circuits, ad-hoc networks, visual programming, neural networks and applications, speech and audio signal processing, etc.
They can work as a computer scientist, quality engineer, communication manager, hardware verification engineer, computing services operations team lead, etc very easily.
