M.Tech is Master of Technology, a post-graduate program in technical stream. M.Tech is available in various subjects related to the field of technology and medical electronics is one among them. Medical electronics is related to Medical lab technology which provides in-depth knowledge of medical science and engineering science in an integrated manner. The course is a combination of biomedical science and technology. It includes study about applied mathematics, biomedical equipment, anatomy, physiology, biomedical instrumentation and biosignal processing.
The course also has some elective subjects like advanced neural computing, human assist devices, tissue engineering, Bio-MEMS, rehabilitation engineering, etc.
These candidates can work in automotive industry, clinical labs, medical and surgical hospitals, etc. They can work as a Clinical Engineer, Bio-instrumentation Engineer, medical officer, patent analyst, etc as per their interest.
