About PGCCL Course
Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law is a post graduate Cyber Law Course which mainly involves in issues related to the communication technology, internet or cyber, computer and information systems, technological and electronic elements, software and hardware. This course provides students the knowledge required to address and resolve the problems in online transactions and to fix intellectual property related issues in cyber space.
Minimum eligibility required to apply for admission to the PGCCL Course is to complete graduation in any discipline from a recognized institute. And 4th, 5th year students of Five year integrated LL.B course who passed three years are also eligible to apply for admission to this course.
Admission procedure may differ from one college to another. Most of the colleges offer admission to the PGCCL Course based on candidate's performance in the relevant entrance examination. Some colleges may offer direct admission based on merit obtained at the level of graduation.

Cyber law is used to describe the legal issues related to the use of internet and communications technology. It also referred as information and communication technology law and it covers electronic governance, intellectual property, cyber crimes, data protection and privacy, electronic commerce and telecommunications. This course trains students in the regulation of cyber space at national level and international level.
Some of the subjects covered in the syllabus of the Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law (PGCCL ) course are commerce and cyberspace, regulation of cyberspace, cyberspace technology, privacy and data protection. Trough this course candidates gain knowledge about the information technology act and also legal frame work of right to privacy, data protection and data security.
Duration of Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law (PGCCL) Course is minimum six months and maximum is two years.
