AMIIChE is the course offered by Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. This course is equivalent to B.Tech in Chemical Engineering for all practical purposes. Indian Institute of chemical engineers in an autonomous body working for the development of chemical engineering in the country. the Institute of Chemical Engineers is having chapters in all the regions of India.
There is a governing council for this body and members will be elected by the members of the Institute. All regions will have their representation in this council. They are offering an associate membership by examination. The examination will be conducted in two sections and to qualify in the examination one has to pass in both the sections. The syllabus is on par with B.Tech Chemical engineering. No classes. You can study on your own. There are some coaching centres offering tuition for the course.
