Eligibility Criteria

  1. Firstly, you must be a graduate. There is a restriction regarding the stream of graduation. Generally, students who have passed a BPT or bachelors in Physiotherapy are eligible to study this course. Sometimes this course is offered by distance education institutes. These institutes allow doctors with neural specialisations to study this course.
  2. You must complete your graduation from a reputed university. If the university from where you have completed a BPT is not recognised by UGC or an equivalent governing body, you will not be eligible.
  3. There is no restriction regarding the marks to be obtained in graduation. If the number of students applying in this course is much higher, then an entrance examination will be conducted to shortlist the students.

  1. You can become a junior physiotherapist in a private nursing home. There is a high demand of such physiotherapists in such nursing homes.
  2. You can join the cricket coaching centres or academies. These centres have a high demand of physiotherapists. In fact, the coaching centres of abroad countries hire a permanent physiotherapist to treat their players suffering from neural disorders.
  3. Nowadays, many oldage homes are hiring physiotherapists to treat the inmates suffering from neural disorders. These patients don’t respond to medicines much. In these cases, such physiotherapists become their only hope.
