All the modern day wonders like flyovers and skyscrapers are also the gifts of this branch of engineering only.
For completing this course successfully one needs to be good in subjects like physics, math and design. Some of the core areas which are dealt in civil engineering are structural engineering, geo-technical engineering, civil engineering materials, environment, water resources, transportation, construction management and surveying.
The construction sector in the country is always blessed with good growth. As such the job opportunities for civil engineers in the country are galore.
