The curriculum of the M.A in Economics
The two year course consists of four semesters. The course includes the areas of economic theory micro and macro economics, Quantitative analytical methods, international economy, money and banking, comparative economic system, public policy, applications of specific industries, monetary economics, international finance, viva-voce, pricing theory and distribution, Indian economic growth, Indian economy, India’s public finance, financial institutions and markets, economics of insurance, demography.
Eligibility for Admission for M.A in Economics: A bachelor’s degree with 50%marks in aggregate are eligible for the course with economics as one of the subject.
