Masters of Arts in Tamil specialization is basically a language focused literature course. The history of Tamil language is more than two thousand years old and there were and there are many contributors from South of our country who has works for the evolution of this language.

These candidates will have different career options like teacher, translator, etc. After post graduation, candidates can join colleges as Assistant professor in the field of teaching. Some institute offering language course, hire these candidates for teaching on good salary scale.
Interested candidates can work as a freelancer and can work for different firm for content development in Tamil language.
If it comes as a self employed, candidates can start their own tuition classes.
Other jobs are as interpreters, it can be liaison, general and consecutive.
The translator can work in many different fields like scientific field, business related field, technical field, etc. They can also work in research institutes and firms, publishing houses, travel and tourism sector, bureaus and many more.
