B.A. is a graduation degree that is Bachelor of Arts and is a non technical course. Malayalam is among many other specializations available in this. B.A. in Malayalam focuses on the core Malayalam language, its origin, its history, etc. This course is more in demand in south part of our country as Malayalam is the major language of that part.
All students who have done their 10+2 with minimum 50% passing marks from any recognized university are eligible for this course.

Other forms like Fiction, Poetry, Literary Criticism, Drama, etc are also included in this course. The structured syllabus includes some topics like Kavitha samkramam, Nadakaum cinemaum, Loka kavyangal mathrukakal, Samoohika parinamam and many more.

Freelancing and writing is again a good option who wants to be an entrepreneur in this field. Content writing job is also in demand. Apart from this, they can be an interpreter like liaison interpreter, consecutive interpreter or a general interpreter. Translating jobs have demand in scientific fields where they have to write technical things and other scientific literary. They can also join publishing firms and journalism.
