Description of the course
Diploma in Health Science and Medical law is one year course, covers areas of legal and health systems, laws, codes of ethics, rights and society. The program requires students to submit project work and prepare for viva. The students would be learning about legal and ethical issues. The subjects of study includes health care policy, contracts, finance, safety of patients. The students also study bio ethics, economics, risk management and public health. The students should build strong skills in communication and in computers to gain knowledge of medical health care through audio and video conferences. The medical terminology, ethics and human systems would be taught for students to develop strong hold for their career in medical legal areas.
Eligibility Criteria: A degree course in medicine or a degree in sociology, psychology, clinical psychology or from a recognised university or social work in health care sector.
The program is designed to students to learn, rules and regulations and laws of public health care at different levels of organisations. The students have to learn about health process, measure, analyse, design and evaluate.The aspiring students discuss the issues of biological, physical, and social issues related to medical health care laws.
