Course Details:


This PG course builds on the fundamentals of the UG civil engineering with specific focus on various topics pertaining to Structural Engineering like Studies of designing of concrete and industrial steel structures, bridges, earthquake resistant structures, composite construction and their stability and reliability. The second year includes projects and or internship depending on the university and corresponding curriculum.

The PG graduate in structural engineering can find ample job opportunities in both government and private sector or can set up own business or provide consultancy. The job profile includes activities like planning, designing, construction and maintenance of structures, or management of resources, administration, finance, construction of structures.
