A doubting Thomas refers to a person who is highly skeptical about something and requires to be shown proper proof to believe it.



Sample Usage

1. Whenever Sheela made a statement about the insecurity of the project, Rakesh would butt in as if he were a doubting Thomas.

2. Convincing the Income Tax Officer that the audit books were not fudged was difficult as he was a doubting Thomas.
