Birds of a feather

The phrase ‘Birds of a feather' is used for people of same nature or habits. Birds with same types of feather generally belong to the same species and hence the usage of the phrase.



Sample Usage

1. It is always true that birds of a feather flock together.

2. Most of the leaders of all political parties are birds of a feather; they promise a lot at the time of elections but fulfil none once they are elected.

3. Rohit and Arun are birds of a feather; both of them are of suspicious nature.
