Nominal is an adjective.

Synonyms: cheap, inexpensive, modest, paltry, small, reasonable.

Antonyms: great, large, significant.


Sample Usage

The benevolent lawyer only charges a nominal fee; he asks very little for his services because he knows his clients are extremely poor.

Mr.Kranthi's contributions to our project were nominal.

The electrician told us that the repair cost would be nominal, but the bill we received from him was enormous.
