Agnostic means one who believes it is impossible to prove or disprove the existence of God.

Agnostic is a noun.

Synonyms: nonbeliever, unbeliever.

Antonyms: believer.

Note: An atheist believes there is no god. The agnostic is not sure whether or not there is a god.


Sample Usage

Durga was agnostic in his thoughts; she believed no one could know whether there is a God or not.

Many agnostic people convert to religion later in life.

Mr.Ravi declined my invitation to say a prayer, because he is an agnostic.
