Difference between 'Observance' and 'Observation'

Observance is strict and attentive performance.

Observation means remark and reception.

Sample Usage

1. In India people are much given to the observance of me meaningless religious ceremonies.
2. The observance of the law.
3. The observance of religious holidays.

1. He made a significant observation on that occasion.
2. She is in hospital for observation.
3. He reported his observations to the mayor.
