Difference between 'Official' and 'Officious'

Official
Official as a noun means an officer and as an objective means 'pertaining to an office'

Officious
Officious has a bad sense and means 'meddling'.

Official
1. There is something called official secrecy.
2. It is the duty of every official to remember it.
3. Official uniform.
4. Official powers.

Officious
1. He is so officious that he has made himself unpopular within a very short time.
2. They are so officious that i do not let them visit my house.
