Difference between 'Provident' and 'Providential'

Provident means thrifty,showing foresight.

Providential means 'strikingly opportune' or 'pertaining to providence'.

Sample Usage

1. He is by nature provident,hence he is never in a fix.
2. A provident father plans for his children's education.

1. His arrival that time was quite providential.
2. Providential care.
