1. Discuss various process maturity levels. Also discuss various KPAs that must be
achieved in each level. [16]
2. (a) Discuss about prototyping model. Explain it’s merits and demerits.
(b) Illustrate on RAD process model. [4+4+8]
3. (a) What is view point? Discuss the statement, “Di erent view points on a prob-
lem is essential”.
(b) Discuss about VORD method in detail. [6+10]
4. (a) Define software design. How is the quality of a good design is assessed?
(b) Give a good and bad software design for any particular problem. [8+8]
5. What are the di erent static and dynamic models that UML provides to document
the design? Discuss them clearly with suitable examples. [16]
6. (a) Discuss about Security testing and Performance testing. [5]
(b) State and explain various debugging tactics. [5]
(c) What are the questions that every software engineer should ask before making
the “Correction” that remove the cause of a bug? [6]
7. (a) Discuss the relationship between lines of code and function points. [8]
(b) What is Object-Oriented metrics and how it is di erent from LOC and FP
metrics? [8]
8. Discuss in detail about Formal Technical Reviews(FTR). [16]
