1. Explain the two methods of character generation.
2.a) Write program fragment using line-relative and move-relative routines to draw the picture.
b) What is a polygon? Explain the even-odd method of imaging the polygon.
3.a) Obtain 3×3 homogeneous-coordinate transformation matrix for the rotation counter-clock-wise by 45 degrees.
b) What is the need to segment a display-file? Discuss about the information that must be associated with each segment in display-file.
4.a) Distinguish between window and view-port. What is viewing transformation?
b) Suppose a window has its lower-left corner at (-2, -1) and upper-right corner at (3, 2), determine how the following two line segments are clipped.
(i) (-1, 3) to (4, 0.5)
(ii) (-1.5, 0) to (-5, -2)
5. What are locator and selector devices? Explain how a locator is simulated by a pick and a pick is simulated with a locator.
6. Describe various viewing parameters in 3D-graphics. What happens when they are changed?
7. Differentiate between 2D-clipping and 3D-clipping.
8. Explain how Bezier curve generation can be done.
