1. (i) Explain the meaning of "Education as a Tripolar Process".

(ii) Describe the relationship between
(a) Philosophy and Aims of Education
(b) Philosophy and Curriculum

(iii) List any six factors which help in determining the aims of education. (2+5+3=10)

2. (i) Define curriculum.
(ii) List the components of a curriculum
(iii) State four factors that need to be considered while Preparing a curriculum
(iv) Describe the nature of nursing curriculum. (1+3+2+4=10)

3. (i) Define Master Rotation Plan
(ii) State the purposes of Master Rotation Plan
(iii) Write down the responsibilities of nursing teachers in relation to providing clinical experience. (2+3+5=10)

OR

(i) Mention the levels of Course Planning.
(ii) Discuss the principles of planning of course outline. (2+8=10)

4. (i) Describe the guidelines for selection and use of Teaching Learning methods.
(ii) Discuss the lecture as a method of teaching. (5+5)

5. Write short notes on any three of the following: (3x5=15)

(i) Bedside clinic
(ii) Posters
(iii) Anecdotal record
(iv) Areas of counselling service in a nursing school
(v) Problems in guidance and counselling

6. (i) Define and explain the meaning of Nursing Research.
(ii) Explain the importance of research in nursing.
(iii) Explain the purposes of research.
(iv) Write the steps of planning stage of research process. (2+3+3+2=10)

7. Given below are some statements. Write T if you find it True or F if it is False in your answer book. (5x1=5)
