4. Explain with examples the format of PERFORM statement.
5. With a suitable example prove EVALUATE statement can eliminate
nested IF statement.
6. Write a COBOL program to search for a given number in a linear
array of numbers using SEARCH verb.
7.a) Give the syntax of STRING statement.
b) Write notes on:
(i) EXAMINES
(ii) INSPECTS
(iii) UNSTRING
8. With a complete format explain the copy statement. State how
COPY statement is different from CALL statement.
