1. The table ticker(Symbol, Time, Price) given below is abbreviated to
K(S,T,P) is a slightly idealized representation of these tock market
ticker tape by a table. Please note that although the tuples of this
table are ordered by time, there is no significance of ordering. Any
reordering of the tuples would man the same thing. Construct a
relational algebra expression that computes all the upturns in this
table. An upturn is the first point at which the price of the stock
increases after it has been static or falling. Your query should
deliver the tuple that causes the upturn. No marks will be given for
simply writing down the answer. Intermediate tables should be
constructed and what they represent should be explained clearly.

2. A company database needs to store information about employees
(identified by ssn, with salary ad phone as attributes); departments
(identified by dno, with dname and budget as attributes); and
children of employees (with name and age as attributes).
Employees work in departments; each department is managed by
an employee; a child must be identified uniquely by name with the
parent (who is an employee; assume that only one parent works for
the company) is known. We are not interested in information about
a child once the parent leaves the company. Draw an Entity
relationship diagram that captures this information.
