3. What were the causes of the Failure of French in the Carnatic wars?
4. Explain the series of incidents that led to the Vellore Mutiny.
5. Sketch the growth of local self government in Tamilnadu.
6. Describe the role of ‘Subramaniya Bharathi’ in the freedom movement.
7. Explain the significance of Ryotwari settlement.
8. Assess the achievements of Rajaji in Tamilnadu politics.
