Note: (i) All the four questions are compulsory.
(ii) All the questions carry equal weightage.

1. Answer the following question in about 600 words.

Define 'Evaluation' and discuss its relationship with 'Measurement' and 'Assessment' by giving suitable examples.

OR

Distinguish between, 'norm-referenced' and 'criterion-referenced' tests with suitable examples.

2. Answer the following in about 600 words.

Explain the concept and significance of 'self-reporting technique' of evaluation. Elaborate various suggestions and precautions to be taken into consideration while using this technique for evaluation of learning outcomes.

OR

Define the term 'Reliabliity'. Describe three approaches to estimate reliability of an achievement test.

3. Write notes on any five of the following in about 120 words each:

(a) Sociograrn and its uses

(b) Advantages and disadvantages of standardised tests

(c) Importance and use of 'Prognosis'

(d) Normal probability curve - its concept and applications

(e) Mean, Mode and Median uses and limitations in class-room evaluation

(f) lnstructional objectives - Importance and Types

(g) Concept and significance of Blue-print

(h) Projective techniques and their usage in organising class-room instruction

4. Answer the following in about 600 words.

Identify four difficult concepts / learning areas from your teaching subject which require remedial material for ensuring clear understanding of students. Describe the nature of remedial material and steps involved in preparation your of such remedial materials. Illustrate your answer With suitable examples.
